  • City Council Will Hold Public Hearing on User Fees

    On June 26, 2018 the City Council will review a proposed schedule of user fees for City Services. The public hearing will not begin before 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chamber. The proposed user fees are available here for review.

  • Filing Period for November General Election Begins July 16

    A General Municipal Election will be held on November 6, 2018 to elect three members of the Claremont City Council. The filing period for nomination papers and candidate statements for the November election begins July 16.

  • City Adopts Homeless Plan

    The City Council adopted a comprehensive Homeless Services Plan on May 28, 2018. The Plan was developed through a collaborative effort between City staff, local and regional service providers, and community members. The document outlines a unified approach to combat homelessness in Claremont.

  • Measure SC Fails to Secure 2/3 Majority to Pass

    Measure SC failed to secure the needed 2/3 vote to pass, according to the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder unofficial Primary Election results. The County will certify official results by the end of the month after provisional ballots and late Vote By Mail ballots are counted.
