City Manager's Weekly Update - 4/20/17
CITY MANAGER’S MESSAGE
Last week, work crews installed construction fences at the current and future sites of the Renwick House. It will take about six weeks to prepare the new site and to prepare the Renwick House for relocation. The Renwick House is being relocated to the east side of College Avenue at Second Street as part of the implementation of the Pomona College Master Plan.
This week, on Wednesday, April 19, the Claremont Police Department and the Claremont Chamber of Commerce conducted a Business Crime Watch Seminar to discuss current crime trends and provide burglary prevention tips to our local Claremont businesses. Tips included security measures that businesses can add to impede criminals and detect criminal activity. Read more in the Public Safety section.
Next week, Claremont Pooch Park will be temporarily closed on Wednesday, April 26 and Thursday, April 27 from 5:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for routine tree trimming.
