City Manager Weekly - April 19, 2018
City Manager's Weekly Update
On Sunday, April 22, the City will partner with the cities of San Dimas, La Verne, and Pomona to host the CicLAvia open streets event. The event will connect the cities and allow for streets to be closed to cars and open for cyclists, pedestrians, runners, and skaters to use as a recreational space. The Village area of Claremont will be considered one of the “Hubs” for the event. The Claremont Hub will have information booths, food trucks, and will also be combined with the Claremont Farmers Market and Earth Day Celebration. Portions of Arrow Highway, College Avenue, and First Street will be closed during the event.
