    The Library is open seven days a week. Hours of operation are: Mondays through Thursdays from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.; Fridays and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.; and Sundays from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

    Los Angeles County has primary responsibility for funding the operation of the public library. However, the City of Claremont currently provides money so the library can be open seven days per week and provide a Children's Librarian. Claremont has also provided money to buy computers for use in the children's section of the library.
