CHWP Parking Fee Increase
Effective April 1, 2017, parking fees are changing for the Claremont Hills Wilderness Park and Thompson Creek Trail parking lots on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Parking lot fees for Saturday and Sunday mornings from opening until 10:00 a.m. will be $5.00 for every four hours, and will remain $3.00 for all other days and times.
Area Code Public Meetings
Residents are invited to participate in the California Public Utilities Commission’s decision-making process to introduce a new area code to the area now served by the 909 area code. The 909 area code is expected to use up all available prefixes by March 2019. On April 4 and April 5, 2017, the CPUC will host meetings for local jurisdictions and the public.
