Homeless Services Plan
The City Council adopted a comprehensive Homeless Services Plan on May 28, 2018. The Plan was developed through a collaborative effort between City staff, local and regional service providers, and community members. The document outlines a unified approach to combating homelessness in Claremont.
For over three years, the City has addressed homeless issues through the Collaborative Response to Claremont Homelessness program. The program is a collaborative effort between the Human Services Department, Claremont Police Department, and Service Providers.
The City of Claremont partners with the Police Department and community agencies to assist the homeless in the community.
