TEFRA HEARING - Claremont Village Apartments
The City Council conducted a public hearing on Tuesday, December 12, 2017 on a financing plan for bonds issued by the California Municipal Finance Authority for Claremont Village Apartments. The proceeds of the Bonds will be used to: (1) finance or refinance the acquisition, rehabilitation, improvement and equipping of Claremont Village, a 150-unit multifamily rental housing project located at 965 West Arrow Highway, Claremont, California; and (2) pay certain expenses incurred in connection with the issuance of the Bonds. The facilities are to be owned by Claremont Village Venture LP (the “Borrower”) or a partnership created by MRK Partners (the “Developer”), consisting at least of the Developer or a related person to the Developer and one or more limited partners and operated by Apartment Management Consultants LLC.

The Architectural Commission conducted a design review for proposed plans associated with a new building that would be a new centerpiece for the Old School House(OSH) development on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at 7:00 p.m.

Pomona College Museum of Art & Renwick House Relocation - Appeal of Architecural Commission Decision - February 14, 2017
The City Council heard appeals on the Pomona College Museum and Renwick House Relocation at the City Council Meeting on Tuesday, February 14, 2017. Below are the staff report, appeals, and attachments.
Site Plan for Relocated Residential Structure (Renwick House)
The Claremont Architectural Commission held a meeting on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. to review the site plan and landscaping for the proposed relocation of Renwick House from its current location at 220 N. College Avenue to a new location approximately 200 feet to the southeast at 146 N. College Avenue (File #16-A11). The historic structure is being relocated to provide space for a new Pomona College Museum of Art (PCMA), which has been approved for the current Renwick House site. The new location is across the street from the current location and is designed to keep the home close to its original location and maintain its setting with the neighboring houses from the same period. During the meeting, all interested persons were allowed an opportunity to speak regarding the site plan and landscaping for the new site.
