The Small Business Assistance Program is a zero-interest loan program designed to assist property owners and small businesses in the City's Consolidated Redevelopment Project Area. The purpose of the program is to upgrade the appearance of retail business and restaurant owners' properties and thereby expand their businesses, which in turn will serve to increase retail sales, property values, and improve the business climate within the City.
$20,000 or 80% of the total project cost, whichever is lower.

5 years - (twenty quarterly payments)
Personal guarantee(s) of the business owners
Entitlement and construction plans, sign replacements & upgrades, installing canopies or awnings, or installing street level retail windows and doors.
