    FALL PROOF: BALANCE & MOBILITY CLASS
    It is proven that as we age, we lose flexibility, agility, and balance. This loss can cause an increased risk of falls and injury. This hands-on class offers the opportunity to learn kills and tips essential to fall prevention and an improved sense of balance, which have been proven to save lives and promote safe independence as one enters their later years. This 10-week program and was developed by the Center for Successful Aging at Cal State Fullerton. Sponsored by Inter Valley Health Plan. Location: Joslyn Center. AARP SMART DRIVER COURSE

This classroom-based course is designed for persons 50 and older who are seeking to sharpen their driving skills. After eight hours of instruction, a DMV certificate will be issued that may entitle participants to a discount on their automobile insurance. One-day refresher course is available for those who previously completed the full two-day course. Location: Hughes Center. Fee: $15 (AARP members)/$20(non-members). CLAREMONT AVENUES FOR LIFELONG LEARNING (CALL)

The FREE Claremont Avenues for Lifelong Learning (CALL) program is designed to permit those 60 years of age and older an opportunity to audit courses at the Claremont Colleges. Classes will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis, with priority given to Claremont residents.  Offerings will be announced through the Senior Clicks newsletter. The Claremont Senior Program is looking for highly talented community-orientated individuals interested in sharing their passion with the community. Offerings are presented in on a quarterly basis and planned at least months ahead of time. It is our intention to offer low-cost and free programs.
