Applications can be obtained in person from City Hall (207 Harvard Avenue), by calling Personnel at (909) 399-5450, by e-mail request or by using one of two on-line applications available below in PDF format. The first on-line application can be opened and filled out on-line and then printed, signed, and delivered to City Hall. It takes approximately 60 seconds to download using a 56K modem.

The second on-line application, which takes approximately 30 seconds to download, can be opened, printed, filled out by hand, signed, and delivered to City Hall.

Return the completed application (resums are not accepted in lieu of an offical application) to the City, either in person at City Hall or by mail (P.O. Box 880, Claremont CA 91711-0880). Be sure to complete all forms, including the application, the background acknowledgement, the applicant data pool information, and the alcohol/drug screening form. Also, be sure to indicate for which position you would like to apply. Faxed copies are not accepted. Applications must be received by the Personnel division no later than the deadline listed in the "complete job description," whether delivered in person or by mail. A separate application is required for each position for which you are applying. Applications are accepted only for those positions for which there is a listed opening.

To receive a job flyer and application when there is an opening for a specific job position, submit an interest card to the Personnel division. Interest cards and a listing of all Claremont job positions are available at City Hall.
