We offer reliable transportation services at a reasonable price. Whether you are commuting, shopping, going to medical appointments, or to and from school, Claremont Dial-a-Ride is available to you. Everyone Can Ride
Claremont Dial-a-Ride is open to everyone - children, youth, adults, and seniors traveling within the Dial-a-Ride service area. (Children under five must be accompanied by an adult).
Where Can I Go?
Claremont Dial-a-Ride operates within the boundaries of Claremont. Service is also provided to the medical facilities in the Pomona Valley Medical Center area as well as the Montclair Plaza and Montclair Trans Center. Dial-a-Ride offers transfers to Foothill Transit at convenient locations as well as offering service to the Metrolink trains at the Claremont Depot.
Special Group Services (Six or More)
Claremont Dial-a-Ride accepts advanced reservations, and regularly scheduled trip request from groups of 6 or more. If you would like to schedule transportation for a group of 6 or more, please call at least 24 hours in advance of your desired trip. For van reservations, call (909) 865-5184. (Reservations are subject to vehicle availability).
Share Rides and Save
Traveling with a friend is not only more fun, it saves you money. Two riders traveling from the same pick-up address to the same location can ride for the cost of one fare. For example, if you and a friend are going to a restaurant, you pay only one regular fare, and one of you travels FREE.

*Discounted Ticket Books -- Claremont Dial-a-Ride accepts Get About tickets. Get About 12-ride ticket books are available for Claremont residents who are senior citizens (60+) or disabled. Ticket books may be purchased at City Hall.
Hours
Monday - Friday
6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Saturday
7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Seniors, disabled persons and children under age 16 can travel 24 hours per day, 7 days a week.
How to Call In
- Call Claremont Dial-a-Ride (623-0183 or TDD 868-0611) at least one hour before your desired pick-up time.
- Please be ready to provide your phone number and the specific address of both your pick-up and destination. Generally within 45 minutes of your call, you will be picked up and transported in a comfortable taxicab or minivan.
- Please make sure you allow yourself sufficient time when calling in. A good rule of thumb is to allot up to 30 minutes of travel time to get to your destination since the Dial-a-Ride vehicle may pick up other passengers on route.
- If you are using a wheelchair or other mobility device or you require any special assistance, please inform the operator when you call to arrange for your pick up.
- Drivers cannot make change, please have the exact fare when boarding the vehicle.

Get About
Get About provides direct transportation for elderly and handicapped passengers. Door-to-door service is available Sunday - Friday throughout the cities of Claremont, La Verne, Pomona and San Dimas, as well as Montclair Plaza, and Doctor's Hospital area.
