The Claremont Hills Wilderness Park is CLOSED January 17 through January 18 due to heavy rain and flooding, and will be evaluated for reopening on Saturday, January 19, 2019.  Additionally, ALL sports fields are CLOSED until further notice.

  • City Sports Fields Closed Due to Storms

    In an effort to prevent damage caused by use during high levels of rainfall, the City’s sports fields and facilities are closed. Please plan accordingly. Sports facilities will reopen on Saturday, January 19. While sports fields are closed, all City parks will remain open for recreational use.

  • Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday – City Offices Closed/Sanitation Schedule Delayed

    City facilities will be closed for the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday on Monday, January 21. Residential refuse collection will be delayed one day next week.

    The City of Claremont has joined the Clean Power Alliance, a collection of municipalities, to offer clean renewable energy to Claremont residents and businesses through a partnership with Southern California Edison.
