Commission & Commitee Appointments
Residents interested in taking a more active role in the City’s decision-making process are encouraged to apply for appointment to a City Commission or Committee. Individuals interested in serving are encouraged to file an application with the City Clerk. Applications are kept on file and considered whenever a vacancy occurs.
The purpose of these bodies is to advise and assist the City Council in addressing various issues related to their area of concern. Each Commission or Committee is comprised of citizens appointed by the City Council. It is the Council’s goal to appoint individuals who reflect the diversity of the community.
