Written Public Comment Submitted for Agenda Items
Beginning September 1, 2020 the City will return to the standard practice of:
- Distributing written comment received for an agenda item to the City Council/Commission/Committee and appropriate staff; and
- Imaging each comment into the record of the meeting in the City Document Archive.
The City temporarily implemented reading written comments into the record when declaration of a state of local emergency due to the COVID-19 virus, and compliance with State and County orders restricted public attendance at City meetings. Now that Zoom is successfully being used to conduct virtual City meetings, anyone wishing to speak by either utilizing the raise hand function of Zoom, or by notifying the City Clerk’s Office of their desire to be called by telephone to speak, can do so.
Please note: written public comment received will be distributed and imaged as quickly as possible upon receipt.
The meetings will not be live streamed through Granicus as the meetings will be live streamed through Zoom instead. The recorded meeting will be uploaded and saved as a record.
Materials for the meeting can be found on the City website, or you can request a copy of any staff report by contacting the City Clerk’s office.
