Since 1897, Oak Park Cemetery has provided a serene and beautiful resting place for residents of the Pomona Valley. Oak Park offers a quaint and peaceful environment rarely found among modern cemeteries, featuring tended lawns and mature oak and sycamore groves.
Oak Park Cemetery is the guardian of the memories of all those resting within its borders. Many prominent founders of the Claremont community have chosen Oak Park as their resting place, including Eleanor Condit, L.N. Smith, William and Caroline Honnold, Thomas Barrows, Lee Pitzer, and George G. Hitchcock.
We pride ourselves in doing all we can to assist families during their time of loss by providing the best possible customer service. Oak Park offers a variety of options for single and companion burials as well as a new columbarium for cremated remains. As a publicly-owned cemetery, we honor interments to members of all faiths. Oak Park also offers competitive pricing options and special benefits for American Veterans.

Flowers and MemorialsUnlike most cemeteries, Oak Park Cemetery allows for fresh-cut flowers, potted plants, and permanent plantings that enhance the beauty of our cemetery grounds. Our groundskeepers will ensure that your offerings of affection are left in place as long as you maintain them and keep them attractive.
Refer to our Gravesite Decoration Guidelines for more information.
Memorial markers and monuments are a way of expressing a unique and lasting tribute to your loved ones. Oak Park Cemetery holds the distinction of being one of only a few cemeteries that still accepts a wide variety of memorial markers, including above-ground monuments.
