Since 2016, Azusa-Claremont-Covina have teamed up for the annual Baker to Vegas Relay race.

During the weekend of April 4th, 2020 the Azusa Police Department, the Claremont Police Department, and the Covina Police Department will be participating as a joint team in the annual Baker to Vegas Challenge Cup Relay. The run is a 120- mile relay race from the City of Baker California to Las Vegas, Nevada. The run promotes camaraderie and awareness of physical fitness for all law enforcement. This event is considered the Super Bowl of all police competitions, drawing teams from around the world to compete. Every year donations are made to the Baker Valley School District. As the race has grown over the years so has the partnership. The Baker to Vegas police family has been able to make a positive impact on the students and the district.

The Police Departments’ collective Police Associations are soliciting sponsorships to support our Baker to Vegas Team. All cash or items donated will go to race entrance fees and support for our runners. The members of each respective associations appreciate your continued support as a valued member of the communities in which we serve. The related tax ID number for non-profit organization is 23-7421482.
