The City Council selected Map 124a as the final district map. Districts 1 and 5 will vote for a Council Candidate in the November 2020 election. 

 

Community members submitted  31 maps submitted. However, nine were duplicates and thus not processed. Of the remaining 22 maps, one was a 4-districts map, three are not contiguous, seven are not population balanced, and another is neither population balanced nor contiguous. In total, there are 10 public map submissions for the Council to consider. In addition, NDC drafted three maps (123-125) for consideration . based on community input.

 At the Public Hearing on February 4, the City Council too comments from the public and selected seven focus maps. The focus maps selected by Council are: Maps 110, 114, 114a, 115, 115a, 123, 124, 124a, and 125
