The Claremont Hills Wilderness Park is CLOSED January 17 through January 18 due to heavy rain and flooding, and will be evaluated for reopening on Saturday, January 19, 2019.  Additionally, ALL sports fields are CLOSED until Monday, January 21.

CicLAvia: Heart of the Foothills

On Sunday, April 22, 2018, the City partnered with the cities of San Dimas, La Verne, and Pomona, the San Gabriel Valley Council of Governments, Metro, and CicLAvia Inc. to host a nearly 7-mile open streets event from 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. The popular CicLAvia open street events bring together thousands of participants of all ages enjoying and rediscovering their communities and cities on car-free streets. The Claremont portion of the event featured Sustainable Claremont’s 10th Annual Earth Day Celebration, as well as the Claremont Farmers & Artisans Market.
